Multiroom +
Distribute music to rooms, control it with an app, group rooms and be woken up by music: That's Multiroom.
For us, Multiroom + means that Multiroom can talk to the house via KNX, that children's rooms can keep to sleeping times and that outdoor areas can never be switched on at night.
Or that the doorbell sound comes through the speakers, that the speakers can be adjusted in detail and adapted to the room and that some things simply run faster and more cleverly.
trivum has been producing multi-room systems for 20 years - and you'll notice that when you use them.
Take music with you from room to room Multiroom systems supply several rooms with music. If you are in the kitchen listening to an interesting podcast, but now go to the study and want to continue listening to it there, this should be easy to do: You want to 'take the music with you'. We call this feature "Listen and Transfer".
Automatic rest periods Normal timers switch music on or off at certain times of the day. trivum systems allow 2 such timers per zone. For outdoor areas and children's rooms in particular, however, it may also be necessary to switch off areas or limit the volume at certain times. This is made possible with advanced timers.
Easier than grouping There are often connected areas in the home, such as the living room and kitchen, which are not separated by walls. Each area has its own speakers that can be switched on or off separately, but ultimately you always hear the same music. We call this feature 'Connected Spaces'. It is a simplified, permanent connection of rooms as an alternative to grouping.
Music at the touch of a button So cool: A simple KNX switch is all it takes to turn on music in the bathroom in the morning. A motion detector that magically makes birdsong sound in the guest toilet. Or you leave the house and press the "All off" KNX button: not only the lights but also the music stops. This is how home automation works!
Not all speakers are optimally installed, which is why they often do not sound as good as they could. Thanks to the DSPs (Digital Sound Processor) built into all trivum SoundSystems and thanks to t3OS, each speaker can be individually adjusted (equalized). So that music sounds the way it should.
Controlling lights and blinds with your cell phone trivum offers a user interface with music control, but lighting control via KNX is also possible. Control objects are defined in the trivum Home Control interface and are accessible on separate pages. It is easy to switch between music selection and control of KNX devices without having to use additional software.
Saving groupings Normally you create groups interactively in the trivum user interface by selecting the zones and grouping them manually. However, this can be tedious if certain zone combinations are used frequently. Instead, you can define a zone group that contains all the desired zones. This allows the grouping to be performed or canceled with just one touch.
When making announcements, you often speak the same texts through the microphone. It would be more convenient to have these announcements prepared. TextToSpeech enables the direct dubbing of an entered text as a generated audio file. This can then be used in pagings as required.
Business +
There are few standard solutions for commercial customers. Either you use what every private user uses, but then the solution is not one that supports your specific requirements. Or you install a commercial solution from a specialist and then it's a bigger project.
Our multi-room system wants to be in the middle: it should be simple and affordable, but offer more: Announcements, background music and perhaps you also use the scheduler to control music and volume on a time-controlled basis.
Speaking into a room In commercial environments, e.g. sales rooms, waiting rooms or a hotel lobby, it is often necessary to interrupt the music playback with announcements. The music should be quieter and the microphone level easily adjustable. The trivum Microphone Mixer makes this possible.
Everything goes better with music Whether in doctors' surgeries, hotels or salesrooms: you often want to listen to the same music everywhere. Individual areas may want to be switched off or listen to different music, but it should always be easy to switch to general background music.
Determine who can make changes The bartenders in a nightclub should be able to select music, but not accidentally change the network settings or deactivate music sources - only the club operator can do that. With trivum protect, it is possible to make such assignments, including password protection of the web configuration.
Control the house by calendar With trivum, you can enter actions for specific days in advance and define recurrences. Events are clearly displayed and can be changed directly in the calendar view. Events can be any trivum action, including music and light control or device/sequence control with macros.
Automate something simple. Turn on the light in the living room when you get home. Then in the kitchen. Then start the chill-out playlist at volume 20. If you do this every day, it would be nice to do it all at the touch of a button. And you can do this by setting up macros in trivum that perform several steps at once.
Announcements and bells The option of interrupting ongoing music in rooms with announcements is mostly used in commercial environments, e.g. in doctors' surgeries or sales rooms. Announcements can be started with KNX telegrams, the planner or the trivum actions, and can therefore be used very flexibly.
Installer +
Our multi-room systems are often installed by specialist companies for larger projects. The extended analysis functions, remote support functions and the fast and direct support from trivum is a real plus point when it comes to time and money.
We work closely with our partners, speak their language and support them with the built-in tools when it comes to the network and non-everyday issues.
Keeping an eye on installations Active and experienced partners have the option of using a trivum Tunnel Server. This tool enables them to monitor and remotely support their installed trivum systems. Fast and competent help With the activated remote support function of a trivum system, our Support team can access the system directly, read out errors and assist with configuration. trivum sound systems for developers If you use a touch panel for home automation, trivum can usually be integrated without any problems. If the trivum WebUI cannot be integrated directly, you can use the trivum API to control functions via HTTP, e.g. "Play favorite no. 1", zone on/off or volume control. However, the trivum API provides much more.

Quick insight into the system trivum multiroom systems offer a wide range of customization options to meet the needs of users and can be seamlessly integrated into existing building technology or automation systems. In some cases, this requires a deeper insight into the system.
