Qobuz Streaming
Qobuz is a French music streaming service that puts sound quality first. Over 100 million tracks are available lossless in CD quality, with many also offered in Hi-Res up to 24 bit. On top of that, there's editorial content such as album reviews and booklets, a real bonus especially for classical music and jazz.

What problem does Qobuz solve? Most streaming services focus on volume and compress the music, and on a good system you can hear the difference. Qobuz delivers lossless quality without you having to rip CDs or maintain your own music collection on a NAS.

How does trivum integrate Qobuz?
Qobuz is fully integrated into trivum, so you don't need a Qobuz app or a phone as a player. You enter your Qobuz login details once in the trivum setup, then browse albums, artists and playlists directly in the trivum app or on the touchpad. Cover art and track information are displayed just like with any other trivum source. |
 |
Benefits of QobuzMusic streams directly from the internet into your trivum system, with no detour via your phone, in high quality and without any battery or WiFi hassles. Your Qobuz playlists and favourites are available to you instantly. And you can save Qobuz content as a trivum favourite just like any other source, use it in macros, or start it via KNX.

How can you customise Qobuz in setup? In the trivum setup, you enter your Qobuz account details and decide whether the source appears as an action on the home screen. You can save individual albums or playlists as trivum favourites and start them via touchpad, macro, alarm, or KNX button.

What limitations does Qobuz support have? You need a paid Qobuz subscription. A Qobuz account can only play one stream at a time: if you start Qobuz with the same account on another device, playback stops on the first one. So for multiple rooms with different music, you'll need several accounts. Also, Qobuz is licensed for private use only; for shops, practices or restaurants, a business service is the right choice.
