Deezer
Deezer is a music streaming service from France with around 120 million tracks, strong in international charts but also in European music. All paid subscriptions stream lossless in CD quality. Deezer is best known for Flow: an endless, personal music mix that learns what you like.

What problem does Deezer solve?Often you don't know exactly what you want to hear, you just want good music playing. Even building your own playlists takes time. With Flow, you simply hit start, and Deezer plays songs that match your taste, including new discoveries, all in lossless quality.

How does trivum integrate Deezer?Deezer is fully integrated into trivum, so you don't need a mobile phone or the Deezer app. You enter your Deezer login details once in the trivum setup, then browse artists, albums and playlists directly in the trivum app or on the touchpad. Cover art and track info are displayed just like with any other trivum source.

Advantages of DeezerThe music comes straight from the internet into your trivum system, independent of your mobile phone, its battery or WiFi. Your Deezer playlists and favourites are there instantly. And you can save Deezer content as a trivum favourite and start it via touchpad, macro, alarm clock or KNX, for example waking up to your Flow in the morning.
How can you customise Deezer in setup? In the trivum setup, you enter your Deezer account and decide whether the source appears as an action on the home screen. You can save individual albums or playlists as trivum favourites for quick access.

What are the limitations of Deezer support? You need a paid Deezer subscription; the free ad-supported plan doesn't work. One account only plays one stream at a time. So for different music in multiple rooms, you'll need several accounts, e.g. via Duo or Family. Deezer doesn't offer Hi-Res beyond CD quality. And like all private streaming services, Deezer isn't licensed for commercial use.
