HighPower Amplifier
The new trivum M2 features a significantly more powerful amplifier: 2 × 125 watts instead of the previous 2 × 30 watts. It's passively cooled, meaning it works completely without a fan and is therefore silent. A built-in DSP lets you fine-tune the sound precisely to your speakers and your room.

What problem do the HighPower Amps solve?

For ceiling speakers in a bathroom or kitchen, 30 watts is easily enough. But large floorstanding speakers, demanding passive speakers or a large living space need extra headroom. Until now, that meant an external amplifier, an additional device, and more cabling. The M2 drives even these kinds of speakers directly, with no extra device required.

How does trivum integrate the HighPower Amps?

The M2 has two channels with 125 watts each, and you connect your speakers directly. Heat is dissipated through the housing, with no fan at all. This means the device stays completely silent even under load, which is essential in quiet spaces like living rooms, bedrooms or home cinemas.

Advantages of the HighPower Amps

More power doesn't just mean more volume, it means headroom: the sound stays clear even at party volume, bass hits with punch, and nothing sounds strained. You can use demanding speakers that never really open up with small amplifiers. And since there's no fan, all you hear during quiet passages is the music.

How can you customise the HighPower Amps in your setup?

Using the built-in DSP, you can tune the amplifier to your speakers and room: with equalizer, bass and treble adjustment, parametric EQ, crossover/high-pass filter, loudness, and volume limiting. This way you get the best out of floorstanding speakers, in-wall speakers or subwoofer combinations.

What limitations do the HighPower Amps have?

Passive cooling needs airflow: the M2 should be installed in a way that lets heat escape, so avoid squeezing it into a closed cabinet. You'll only reach full power with suitable speakers, so pay attention to the impedance and power handling of your speakers.
